VESTIGE
Vestige means a trace or remnant of something that once existed, it reflects the idea that childhood never truly disappears; it simply changes with time, leaving behind fragments of what it once was. As we grow older, our memories begin to distort and fragment. Faces lose their details, and moments that once felt vivid become mixed with imagination. Using photographs from my own childhood alongside characters, objects, foods, and everyday moments, Vestige explores these fragments as traces of a childhood that can no longer be fully recovered. Rather than seeking an accurate representation of the past, this project embraces the uncertainty and imperfection of memory.
